Information collected is either relating to a claim being pursued or related to a private purchase that has been instructed to us by you. We handle claims for technology, collecting information from policyholders, insurance companies, brokers, loss adjusters, suppliers and other third parties involved in a claim.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Information may be transferred, stored and processed by them for the purposes of collection, assessment, replacement and installation, in relation to your claim or private purchase.

Your information may be transferred to, stored and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA).   We will not transfer your information outside the EEA unless it is to a country which is considered to have equivalent data protection laws or we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the firm has suitable standards in place to protect your information.

Unless required to by law, we would never share your personal information without the appropriate care and necessary safeguards being in place.

How long will we keep the information?

The information will be kept as long as is useful, necessary and required in law. We would generally keep your information for up to 6 years, for our contractual obligations and regulatory compliance.

Do we use any of your information for marketing purposes / Opting in?

If you are a policyholder, we have no reason to use your information to send you marketing except to request your feedback on how your claim was handled, via email.

If you are an instructing client, we may send you periodic marketing information, via email, to inform you of our products, services, share feedback from customers and case studies. We will ask you, as a representative, if you would like to opt-in to receive this information. It remains your right to opt-out at any point should you no longer require this information. You can do this by clicking unsubscribe from any email marketing we send. 

Your Rights

You have several rights concerning the use of your personal information we use, these include the right to:
