Claim overview: |
This claim involved a telephony system for a hotel. The system was deemed irreparable by the local concessionaire who provided a quote for a replacement system of £33,000! The policyholder expressed concern about the inconvenience of re-training and down time if the system was going to be replaced. We were asked to provide a technical assessment as to the possibility of repair. Within 4 hours of being instructed our engineer attended the site, found the controller card of the main board to be faulty and replaced it with one from his van for £180! |
