Claim overview
This claim involved a local education authority whose incumbent supplier provided a quote for reinstatement of ceiling mounted projectors.
C.A.T.S. were asked to provide an alternative reinstatement quote.
We first identified that the incumbent suppliers quote included an unreasonable 37% profit margin. They were also proposing to charge for ceiling mount kits that came free from the manufacturer with the projectors, which in our opinion was unacceptable.
We provided a comparable quote, including free ceiling mount kits, at a more reasonable cost plus 10%.
We were then instructed to arrange reinstatement, saving insurers £1600!
