This claim involved a local bookmaker whose accidental damage to his EPOS system was likely to prevent him from trading on the busiest day of the year aside of christmas.

The insured was all set to go and replace his system to the tune of £3000.

The incident occured on a Tuesday and the insured needed to be functional again by Saturday. We sent our engineer in to collect the damaged unit on Wednesday, repaired it on the Thursday and returned it to him on the Friday, well before his second busiest day of the year.
